Let the Light In

Let the Light In

Sometimes I think my brain clearly works in a different way - I battle to walk down a street or into a field without having to pause and take in a golden leaf; a flower gently blowing in the wind; the way the fading light falls against stone.
All around me lies beauty, just waiting to be noticed. I can’t help but notice. I can’t help but rejoice in it.
This world may be a broken world, but there is so much beauty too, and with it comes hope.

“Ring the bells that still can ring
Forget your perfect offering
There is a crack, a crack in everything That's how the light gets in”
- Leonard Cohen
